Abstract
Mathematical learning that uses contextual problems can be solved by the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics
Education Approach (PMRI). Enhancing the ability to understand the concept of the KPK with PMRI using
footsteps, tiles and soft drinks media. This study aims to determine the average increase in the ability to
understand the concept of the KPK with PMRI. Pre-experimental with the design of one group pretestposttest
was the method used in this study with data analysis techniques using tests. The research subject
was class IV Al-Hilaliyah Madrasah which was attended by 34 students. This research concludes that there
is an increase in the ability to understand the concept of the KPK with PMRI with an N-gain value of 0.698
with the medium category.
