3000 m3/hour to Support Drug Tablet Coating Machine (Yenchen 125L).
This research is motivated by the need for a dust collector machine for drug tablet
coating machines. Where to process drugs that are good and in accordance with
CPOB required parameters of incoming and outgoing air. In addition to acting as a
dust collector, this Dust Collector also acts as a vent to meet the needs of each
product that is processed.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the calculation on the dust collector design
whether it is in accordance with the desired capacity of consumers. The air flow that
is sucked by the Dust Collector according to the SOP for coating the drug tablets is
3000 m3/hour, using a round entrance type, duct diameter 10 inches, bag filter
dimensions 160 x 1450 mm, polyester filter cloth type, there are differences in the
number of filter bags that have been installed (24 pc) with the results of the author's
analysis (72) based on the type of cleaning on the mechanical shaker filter bag, and
the motor power of 5.5 kw.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan mesin dust collector untuk mesin
coating tablet obat. Dimana untuk memproses obat yang baik dan sesuai CPOB
dibutuhkan Parameter udara yang masuk dan yang keluar. Selain bertindak sebagai
pengumpul debu sisa produksi Dust Collector ini juga bertindak sebagai ventilasi
untuk memenuhi kebutuhan setiap product yang diproses.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa perhitungan pada rancangan dust
collector apakah sudah sesuai dengan kapasitas yang diinginkan konsumen. Debit
udara yang di hisap Dust Collector sesuai dengan SOP pengcoatingan tablet obat
adalah 3000 m3
/jam, menggunakan jenis round entrance, diameter duct 10 inch,
dimensi bag filter 160 x 1450 mm, jenis kain filter polyester, terdapat perbedaan
jumlah bag filter yang sudah terpasang (24 pc) dengan hasil analisa penulis (72)
berdasarkan jenis pembersihan pada bag filter mechanical shaker, dan daya motor
sebesar 5,5 kw.
